Day 1, Wed: Miami to Lima
Depart Miami in evening to Lima. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and
in-flight entertainment for your journey
your flight to Lima Peru arrives late this evening where you will be

Day 2, Thu: Lima City Tour and Golden Museum
City Tour and Gold Museum. This half-day tour visits both the colonial
and modern sections of this "City of Kings." Colonial sites include the
lovely Plaza Mayor with its cathedral and palace, and the exquisite Torre
Tagle Palace modern day seat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In moder n
Lima, drive along the exclusive residential areas of Miraflores and San
Isidro. Then visit Peru's famous Gold Museum, which houses a priceless
collection of pre-Colombian gold artifacts as well as the private armory of
Miguel Mujica Gallo. Some of the cultures represented in this collection
include the Chavin, Paracas, Nazca, Tiahuanaco and Inca

Day 3, Fri: Lima - Cuzco (Capital of an Empire)
Early morning flight to Cuzco. Meet 'n Greet upon arrival and Transfer
to Hotel Royal Inka II. Relax, or leisurely stroll its historic cobblestone
streets on your own. Then in the afternoon take optional tours to
visit museums and nearby ruins of Kkenko, Pacapucara and Sacsayhuaman.

Day 4, Sat: Cuzco - Machu Picchu
Early morning departure for full day excursion from Cusco to Machu
Picchu via combination of mini-bus and narrow gauge rail
Vistadome transportation enjoying scenic views of the Sacred Valley,
Urubamba River and colorful Quechuan villages on route
to mysterious Inka stronghold, Machu Picchu, literally in the clouds
high a top the Peruvian Andes mountain range. Enjoy Lunch,
informative guided tour of these incredible ruins, marvel at
magnificent panoramic views, truly a photographer's delight,
and learn the secrets of these ancient Inka ruins. The beauty
of its location and the genius construction make Machu Picchu the
jewel of all Inca settlements. An expert leads you through the ruins
to absorb the mystery and beauty of this amazing site. While most
visitors leave Machu Picchu in the afternoon you’ll stay in the area
overnight

Day 5, Sun: Picac and Ollantaytambo
Breakfast at your hotel. You will be picked up at 8:45 am for morning
departure for scenic drive through beautiful, fertile countryside on
route to the colonial village, Pisac. Enjoy bargaining for exquisite
jewelry, colorful textiles and intricate handicraft in its bustling
marketplace. Following Lunch, continue to the village of Ollantaytambo
for visit of its impressive Inka fortress. At the end,
return to Cusco at 6:30pm.

Day 6, Mon, Cusco
Free day for optional tours. Walking tour of Cusco or full day excursion
to the Urubamba Valley to visit an authentic Quechua Village, the Inca's

Day 7, Tue, Lima then Home
Breakfast then transfer to the airport for flight to Lima
and connecting to Quito.

Day 8, Wed: Quito
Quito Free day morning at leisure for
independent pursuits. Optional Quito Tour Available. Afternoon to
relax and eat in one of the many restaurants where you can enjoy the
local cuisine and hospitality of the local people.

Day 9, Thu; Baltra
Transfer in the morning to airport for the two hour flight
to the Galapagos from Quito. Upon arrival, meet your family naturalist
guide and transfer to the Luxury family cruise. The ships crew will
greet you on board, take care of your luggage, and run through safety
drills. Enjoy fresh fruit drinks as the yacht makes her way to the first
site visit. As the sun sets, enjoy a typical Ecuadorian meal, the
nightly briefing and formal presentation of the captain and crew. During
the rest of this week, your family will leisurely voyage through the
stunning Galapagos Islands, among a varied landscape and diverse flora
and fauna.

Day 10, Fri; AM Espinoza Point
(Fernandina Island) PM Tagus Cove (Isabela Island)
This morning visit Urbina Bay on Isabela Island,
which is the largest island in the Galapagos. It was created by the
eruption of five volcanoes that flowed together. Graffiti dating
back to 1800's is written on the rocky cliff, believed to be done by
pirates and buccaneers. The trail leads to Darwin's salt-water
lagoon and an excellent view of the lava fields, volcanic formations
and the ocean. A Dinghy ride will allow you to see marine life and
Galapagos Penguins and flightless cormorants. Visit large
populations of giant tortoises, Galapagos penguins, Galapagos hawks
and frigate birds. This afternoon, catch sight of the largest colony
of Marine iguanas sharing space with sally-lightfoot crabs in Punta
Espinoza, Fernandina Island. Also to be found are Flightless
Cormorants nesting points, Galapagos Penguins, Galapagos Hawks and
Sea lions. Among the Flora are Brachycereus cactus and mangroves
extending into the sea. Recent lava flows formed by an active
volcano are also evident.

Day 12, Sun; Charles Darwin Station &
Land Tortoise Breeding in
Santa Cruz Island
Visit h ome
to the Charles Darwin Research Station and the Galapagos National
Park Service, where you will find atortoise breeding center,
flamingo, land iguanas, interesting vegetation and geography.
AM - Visiting the famous
Charles Darwin Research Station will be certainly a rewarding
adventure for this morning's program Upon arrival, we proceed
to visit the Charles Darwin Research Station and the rearing in
captivity program for the famous giant tortoises. Here we will
get to understand the conservation efforts promoted by this
institution, and stroll among an impressive giant prickly-pear
cactus forest where endemic land birds can be seen.
PM – Visit to the Highlands on Santa Cruz Island
where we will take you into the higher
elevations of Santa Cruz. Along the way you will experience
all seven different vegetation zones. A visit to the tortoise
reserve offers the opportunity to see tortoises in the wild.

Day 13, Mon;
Bachas Beach, then fly to Quito, then overnight flight home
Breakfast on board ship. Morning excursion to
spectacular Bachas Beach, where white sands edge flamingo lagoons. Look
for boobies flying overhead, see green sea turtles, and snorkel. Return
to ship and prepare to disembark. Transfer to Galapagos Airport. Return
flight to Quito, Overnight flight home this evening.
