Day 1: Tue- Depart New York
Over night on board a wide body aircraft with dinner and breakfast on board

Day 2: Wed -  Cairo
Upon arrival in Cairo our representative who will assist you through passport control formalities, luggage identification & portage will greet you. From the airport you will be transferred by a private A/C car or mini-bus to your hotel to check in and overnight

Day 3:  Thu, Great Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx Monuments, Egyptian Museum
Your guide for the day will pick you up and begin your guided tour in Giza to visit the legendary majestic Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerionos - also known as the Great Pyramids of Giza. You will see firsthand d why these spectacular man-made monuments are known as one of the seven wonders of the world. While visiting the Pyramids, this is a perfect time to ride a camel and capture your experience in a photograph!

When we finish exploring the Great Pyramids our next stop is a visit to the Sphinx monument; guarding the royal burial chambers and temple of Cheops.

NOTE: Before going to the Egyptian museum this is the best time to take a break for lunch (not included in price) or visit one of the following (included in tour price): 1) Papyrus Gallery, 2) Gold Factory or 3) Perfume Factory.

In the afternoon we will visit the Egyptian museum of antiquities, which was established in 1902 near the city center in Cairo. On display is a rare collection of 5000 years of art — the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tut-Ankh-Amon collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry, as it was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920’s when his tomb was excavated.
Transfer to Rail station to take 1st class sleeper train to Aswan

Day 4:  Fri, Aswan to Edfu
 Upon Arrival to Aswan, The guests who would like to join the optional half day Abu Simbel tour will take the short flight directly from Aswan. After the tour you will return Aswan and will be guided to embark to the Nile Cruise ship. Lunch on board and sail on the Nile by Feluccas for the view of Elephantine island (or Kitchener’s island), view from boat. Dinner and overnight on board. (Felluca sail may not be available on some cruises and embarkations)

Day 5: Sat, Aswan - Kom Ombo - Edfu (B, L, D)
After breakfast we will visit the remarkable Aswan Dam, considered as one of the outstanding architectural achievements of the 20th Century. Then we will visit the Philae Temple, which was dedicated to goddess Isis. Then we’ll sail to Kom Ombo to visit the temple that was built in Ptolemaic Roman era for the worship of god Haroeris and Sobek, the crocodile god.. Today’s cruise will end in Edfu.

Day 6: Sun, Edfu - Esna - Luxor (B ,L, D)
Today we will visit the Edfu Temple, located in the west bank of Nile, dedicated to god Horus, the falcon god.
Then we will sail to Esna, cross the lock and then to Luxor.

Day 7: Mon; Luxor - Sharm El Sheikh (B)
After breakfast we will begin our tour in the enchanted Luxor, considered the greatest open air museum in the world.. In the morning visit the West bank - Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch we will cross to the eastern bank of Nile to see the temples of Karnak and Luxor. Luxor temple was built for the worship of god Amon Ra. Karnak temples include several temples and begins with the spectacular avenue of Rams. After tour we will be transferred to Luxor Airport for our flight to Sharm El Sheikh. You will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 8: Tue; Sharm El Sheikh (B)
Enjoy whole day the sandy & sunny beaches of Sharm El Sheikh. Diving, snorkeling, desert safari, camel ride and golf are some of the activities we may do during the day.

Day 9: Wed; Sharm El Sheikh - St. Catherine Excursion (B)
Early in the morning we will drive to St. Catherine Monastery, located in the southern part of Sinai Peninsula, in the foothills of Moses Mountain. The monastery, built in 6th Century, includes a basilica, chapel, mosque, library and a museum. At noon return your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 10: Thu: Sharm El Sheikh - Cairo (B)
Free Morning. Late afternoon you will be transferred to Sharm El Sheikh Airport for your flight to Cairo.
Transfer to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 11: Fri:  Free day  (Optional Alexandria Tour)
Today is free for your leisure. You can take a daily tour to Alexandria, second biggest city and the largest port of Egypt. Here you can visit the El Montazah Gardens, National Museum, Alexandria Library and enjoy panoramic view of fort Qaitbay. Another option is to stay in Cairo and take optional half day tour to Khan Khalili Bazaar, the most famous bazaar of Egypt built in 14th century. The market has a medieval atmosphere and is famous for its unusual, typically oriental souvenirs, and handmade crafts.
Overnight: Cairo

Day 12: Sat, Flight to New York.
Morning transfer to the airport and assist you at the airport through final departure formalities
Since you are beating time, you will arrive home later today.
