Day 1, NEW YORK Depart New York to London. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey Day 2, CAIRO Our representative who will assist you through passport control formalities, luggage identification & portage will greet you, Then Escorted to your selected hotel- Relax for about half day Dinner cruise on the Nile with around 2 hours cruising on the Nile including international buffet dinner belly dancer & folkloric show Day 3, PYRAMIDS / MEMPHIS / SAGGARA Morning visit of the great Pyramids of Giza, the Enigmatic Sphinx from here we drive to Sakkara the vast Necropolis of Ancient Memphis. It is the first Pyramid and is the world’s oldest Stone structure .In the Afternoon; we drive to Memphis - the Capital of The ancient kingdom and one of the most important Cities throughout the History of ancient Egypt Day 4, EGYPTIAN MUSEUM AND CAIRO SIGHTSEEING Breakfast and start your full day tour by visiting the Egyptian Museum, The Citadel of Salah El-Din, the Mohammed Ali Mosque, the Jewish Synagogue of Beni Ezra and the Bazaar of Khan-el-Khalili Transfer back to your hotel. PM You will be met and transferred to attend the Sound and light performance at the Giza Plateau. drive back to your hotel . Fly after 1 Am to Nairobi. Day 5: NAIROBI / LAKE NAKURU On arrival to Nairobi at 04:15 AM; meet and assist at airport and transfer to Panafric Hotel for breakfast. After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. At 1530 hrs proceed for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge Day 6: MAASAI MARA Drive to via the Great Rift Valley to arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch at Mara Sarova Camp. 1530 hrs- go for an afternoon game drive till dusk. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge Day 7. MAASAI MARA Early morning game drive in the Mara. Return to the lodge for breakfast. You spend the rest of the morning at leisure. After lunch at the lodge you proceed at 1500 hrs for an afternoon game drive till dusk. Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge Day 8: NAIROBI - NEW DEHLI 0630 hrs- Take the opportunity to fly over the Mara in a Hot Air Balloon provided at extra cost. The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild! If you can spare the money, viewing abundant game afloat a balloon is an unforgettable experience. After breakfast return to Nairobi arriving around 1300 hrs. Drive to Carnivore for lunch. Before you head to Nairobi Airport to catch flight to New Dehli Day 9: DEHLI arrival in India's capital. You'll be escorted to your first class hotel. Claridges Hotel Day 10 DEHLI/AGRA After a good night's sleep and breakfast, drive to Agra, an ancient city that came into prominence in Medieval times under the patronage of the Mughal rulers. Highlight of your day is a visit to the fabled, perfectly proportioned Taj Mahal. This 17th century, white marble mausoleum was built by Emperor Shah Jehan to enshrine the mortal remains of his Queen, Mumtaz Mahal. Clarks Shiraz Hotel (B) Day 11. AGRA Enjoy the day at leisure to explore Agra. You will be offered several interesting optional tours, including a visit to the Agra Fort, where the Emperor Shah Jahan, imprisoned by his own son, watched the building of the Taj Mahal; Itmad-ud-daulah, known as the "baby Taj", the first Mughal structure totally built from marble; Sikandra, the sandstone and marble tomb of Akbar which blends Islamic, Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and Christian motifs and styles, and other interesting sites. (B) Fly this evening to Dehli for flight to Beijing Day 12, BEIJING You'll be met by your guide and then escorted to your hotel in the center of Beijing, within short distance of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Beijing International Hotel Day 13, TIANANMEN SQUARE/FORBIDDEN CITY Start your day with a visit to the famous Tiananmen Square, visit the Forbidden City, located at the exact center of the ancient city of Beijing where it served as the imperial palace during the mid-Ming and Qing Dynasties. Known as the Palace Museum today, its extensive grounds cover 720,000 square meters, 800 buildings and more than 8,000 rooms. The Forbidden City is listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world and was declared a World Heritage site in 1987. Summer PalaceAfter lunch, the rest of the day is yours to explore Beijing on your own. Day 14: GREAT WALL OF CHINA AND MING TOMBS Depart after breakfast on a full day included excursion to the only man-made structure visible from the moon, the Great Wall of China, which follows a ridge of barren hills stretching at least 3,750 miles (6,000 km). Construction of the Great Wall, which spanned more than two thousand years, began between the 7th and 6th century BC and continued through the Ming Dynasty. The wall was originally built of stone, wood, grass and earth, but during the Ming Dynasty, bricks were produced in kilns set up along the wall. The bricks were transported by men carrying them on their backs or by donkeys, mules and even goats, which had bricks tied to their heads before being driven up a mountaindrive back to your hotel . Enjoy an opportunity to mount the ramparts of this ancient wonder before proceeding to the Ming Tombs, burial site of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. In over 200 years, between 1409 and 1644, tombs were built over an area of 40 square kilometers. Each tomb is located at the foot of a separate hill and is linked with the other tombs by a road called the Sacred Way. A massive stone archway, built in 1540 at the southern end of the Sacred Way, is decorated with designs of clouds, waves and divine animals. (B,L) Day 15: BEIJING Enjoy a day to explore Beijing on your own. Your hotel is centrally located in the heart of Beijing, close to major attractions, restaurants and shopping. Take an optional full day to the Hutongs of Beijing followed by the Temple of Heaven, with lunch included. For those who want to explore the way the Chinese live and have lived for centuries, a jaunt down the intricate maze of Beijing's Hutongs is essential. These ancient, labyrinthine alleys or lanes are still an important feature in the urban landscape of Beijing, where houses along Hutongs still occupy one third of the total area, providing housing for half the population and providing yet another example of Beijing as an ancient yet modern city. (B) Day 16: BEIJING/San Francisco/Los Angeles Transfer to the airport this morning for your return flight to the USA. After an early breakfast, Catch flight to Machu Picchu. Arrive at “The Lost City Of the Incas” rediscovered in 1911. The beauty of its location and the genius construction make Machu Picchu the jewel of all Inca settlements. An expert leads you through the ruins to absorb the mystery and beauty of this amazing site. While most visitors leave Machu Picchu in the afternoon you’ll stay in the area overnight Hotel: Machu Picchu Inn. (B,D) Day 19, Cuzco/Quito (Ecuador). Have an extra day to visit the ruins on your own, relax at the local hot springs, and walk around the orchid gardens. The enormous beauty of Machu Picchu certainly deserves this extra day. Take optional horseback riding tour will take you to the beautiful country side around the city of Cuzco. This morning, fly from Quito to San Cristobal, the easternmost gateway to the islands. Board your first class cruise boat, your base while exploring the islands. This afternoon a naturalist guide will lead you on a short walk to Ochoa Beach, an excellent spot to view pelicans, sea birds and anemones. Observe the thick vegetation and mangrove trees. Free time to walk on the beach, snorkel or swim before returning to the boat. MV Galapagos Explorer. (B,L,D) Day 21, Galapagos Cruise: Española Island Upon landing at Suarez Point on Española Island, the southernmost in the archipelago, learn about lava terrain while crossing inactive lava fields. Aside from the sea lion colonies, this is a great site for bird watching. You may spot marine iguanas, lava lizards and colorful Sally Light Foot Crabs. You may also encounter a large colony of Waved Albatross. Later, visit the famous blowhole, where water shoots high into the air. After lunch, arrive in Gardner Bay situated on the opposite side of Espanola Island. The beach here is one of the most magnificent in the Galapagos and is home to many sea lion colonies. The station is a breeding and rearing center where tortoises of different subspecies are prepared for reintroduction to their natural habitats. Later sail to Rabida Island, a small island covered with dry coastal vegetation. This is a beautiful island with stunning contrast between the red-tinted sand of its beaches and the vivid green of its mangroves. It is home to sea lions, blue-footed boobies and pelicans. Enjoy a short walk to the top of the trail where you may take photos of the clear waters and the volcanic peaks. Tonight, you may enjoy a famous night show or try your gambling luck.
